Are transactions between entities treated as internal transfers?

Yes -- inter-entity transfers are tagged as internal transfers so you can handle them correctly in accounting.

1. In the Transactions page, inter-entity transfers appear with a type of Internal Transfer and show both entity names.

2. In accounting exports, these transactions are labelled clearly so they can be excluded from P&L.

💡 Tip: Map Internal Transfer transaction types to an intercompany loan account in your accounting software.

3. For cross-currency inter-entity transfers, the FX component is also recorded.
