Important information

  • You can only book trades, Monday - Friday between the hours of 9am - 5pm SAST (excluding SA public holidays)

  • Funds must be sent directly to an external bank account (not in your company's name) unless you have a prior SARB approval or operate a non-resident account.

  • You can not move money between your ZAR wallets or any other wallet you hold with Verto

  • An amount of R500 will need to be left in your account when making a payment to ensure that the transaction fee can be covered on settlement day.

Step 1

Click Send money from the dashboard

Step 2

Choose the bank account which you want to send the money to. If you haven't already added a recipient, click Add new recipient. Ensure that the currency you would like the recipient to receive is on this list.

Step 3

Under You send, click the currency dropdown, and choose your Investec ZAR wallet. Enter the amount which you would like to send, and click Continue.

Note: funds must be in your account before making payment.

Step 4

Ensure you choose a purpose of payment, and upload a supporting document*.

*This is mandatory for payments out of South Africa. Find invoice requirements here.

Click Confirm and send. The money should reflect in the recipient's account within 1-2 working days.
