NGN payments overview

A local NGN account allows you to receive Nigerian Naira payments locally in Nigeria. Follow these steps to receive payments using your NGN account.

Locate your account details

To locate your NGN account details, select your NGN wallet and visit the local account details section. If you don't see these please contact
support@vertofx.com for help.

Provide your account details

Once your NGN account is open, you will need to provide your account details to the person or entity sending you payments. You may have account details for one or both of our Nigerian banking partners — share the relevant details based on what you have available and how the sender is paying.

Paga account (supports NIP/eTranzact payments up to NGN 100 million):

  • Account Name: Verto - Your Business Name (e.g. Verto-Good Shop Ltd)

  • Account Number: Your unique 10-digit account number

  • Bank Name: Paga

FCMB account (supports NIP, Etranzact, RTGS and NEFT — including payments above NGN 100 million):

  • Account Name: Your Business Name (e.g. Good Shop Ltd)

  • Account Number: Your unique 10-digit account number

  • Bank Name: FCMB (First City Monument Bank)

For payments above NGN 100 million, share your FCMB account details as RTGS and NEFT are only supported via FCMB.

Once the sender enters your account number and bank name into their banking platform, the account name will be displayed automatically for them to confirm before sending.

Note: Please make sure you share the correct details. Payments sent to the wrong account are irreversible.

Receive payments

Once you have provided your account details, the sender can initiate the transfer. Funds will be credited to your NGN Verto wallet once received.

Timing will depend on the payment scheme used — see our NGN payments overview for details.
