Can I bulk-upload recipients via CSV?

Yes Verto lets you import a list of recipients in one go using a CSV file.

This is ideal for payroll, vendor payments, and bulk disbursements.

1. Click "Send Money" from the Dashboard or Wallets page.

2. On the recipient selection screen, click "Make a Bulk payment - Upload a CSV to pay instantly".

3. Choose the currency and wallet from which you would like to pay.

Note: if you choose to send to beneficiaries in a different currency, the money will be automatically converted to the beneficiaries' currencies and sent from the wallet you choose here.

4. Download and fill the CSV template. You can also click here to download it. You will need to fill.

  • Beneficiary references (required) - these begin with "RP" - find these by hovering over the right hand sidebar and clicking Beneficiaries. You can also export and download these references in a CSV from the Beneficiaries section. If you need to create beneficiaries in bulk first, click here to learn how to upload beneficiaries using CSV.

  • Amount (required) - the amount you want the beneficiary to receive, in the currency of the beneficiary

  • Reference (optional) - the reference which you want the beneficiary to see on their statement when they receive it (this does not always pass through to the beneficiaries' bank statements).

9. Click Continue to process the ... payments to initiate all payments simultaneously, or send them for approval if required.
